About the series
Some of the most useful lessons in medicine are learned in private conversations, not lectures. This series records those conversations, one question at a time.
Each episode starts with a question a trainee wants answered now, then finds the mentor whose career gives them a distinctive perspective on that exact question. The conversation runs 10 to 15 minutes and ends with three takeaways and one step you can act on tomorrow.
The goal is not a single career blueprint. No two mentors start from the same place. The series builds a growing set of perspectives — private practice and academic, leadership and teaching, research and interpersonal — that you can use as a compass while shaping your own path.
Made for radiology residents, fellows, medical students, and early-career faculty, although the questions travel well beyond radiology. Hosted by Mahla, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
